The KrUzer RTS builds on the success of the original Kruzer with performance enhancements specifically for Foil Drive. Featuring a Recessed Track System (RTS) and Enhanced Connection Window (ECW), this design reduces resistance from the battery beneath the board and improves Bluetooth transmission for greater efficiency in both paddling and lift-off. 

 

Board design

Developed with team rider Josh Ku and inspired by two years of riding the Amos Shapes Raptor, the RTS retains neutral bottom angles through 300mm (11.81") tracks while refining the rail outline for improved performance. The narrowed overall width enhances paddle power, reduces excess volume, and maximises paddle speed for a streamlined takeoff.

The KrUzer RTS combines versatile design with distinctive aesthetics, including a blue base and deck grip inspired by Gerry Lopez’s lightning bolt boards. Balanced and efficient, it is suited to riders at all levels exploring prone foiling with the added benefits of Foil Drive integration.

FAQs

Can I change my battery without removing the mast?

You will need to remove the mast to change batteries, though Foil Drive are developing new hardware to make the process easier (updates coming soon).

Can I ride this board without Foil Drive?

Yes. The recess is designed to fit most major foil mast brands.

What does a battery change involve?

To change a battery, remove the four bolts securing the Foil Drive to the board. Open the nose cone, replace the battery, then reattach the nose cone and refit the unit and mast using the same four bolts.

Will I need an antenna for Bluetooth connection?

No. The Kruzer RTS includes an Enhanced Connection Window (ECW) under the nose logo, plus a carbon-free zone in the recess to improve signal transmission. Correct connection technique still applies - see Foil Drive’s YouTube guide for details.

Can I customise the dimensions of the Kruzer RTS?

No. Due to the technical and time-intensive nature of the build, custom dimensions are not available for RTS models.

Can I use other Foil Drive products with the Kruzer RTS?

Yes. The Foil Drive Gen 2 Slim (Performance and Endurance batteries) and Gen 2 Max (Power and Sport batteries) are both compatible.
