Tips for installing your Foil Tec tracks:
Always take correct safety precautions when using power tools and wear appropriate PPE.
Always make sure router bit has stopped moving before removing it from jig.
Setting your router to the correct depth:
Stage One: Install correct router bit into router (¼”). To measure correct depth, hold jig horizontal over router piece and be sure the router is 2-3mm above the jig.
This will ensure correct cutting depth.  commonly this is done by placing your router upside down and through the jig cut space so depth can be seen clearly.
Stage Two: Install correct router bit into router (1”). To measure correct depth, hold jig horizontal over router piece and be sure the router is 25mm above the jig (be sure not to include the recess depth when measuring).  This will ensure correct cutting depth.  Commonly this is done but placing your router upside down and through the jig cut space so depth can be seen clearly.

Installation Instructions:
1) Use Stage One Jig and align using either centre guideline or track guidelines. We suggest taping your jig in place to ensure no movement during routing.
2) Set up router with 1/4" jig supplied for a 2-3mm deep cut inside track area.
3) Remove stage one jig.
4) Clip stage two jig into the recess that you have just routed in board.
5) Use 1” router bit provided, set to depth of 25mm and route area within stage two jig.
6) Check for correct depth after cut.
7) Key in your Foil Tec Foil Track with 40 to 80 grit sandpaper for best bond.
8) Use epoxy resin or a Cabosil and epoxy mix to glue tracks into place.
