The Spitfire has been one of Amos Shapes' most popular high-performance carbon foilboards for many years. With the V2, this shape has now evolved to meet today’s foil progression.

The first-generation Spitfire was developed alongside the rise of high-aspect foil wings, delivering the speed, responsiveness, and performance advanced riders craved. In response to the rise of mid-aspect and surf-aspect foil wings and a move toward back-foot-oriented riding, Amos Shapes advanced this board to suit today’s riding demands.

Refined board design

• Increased tail area with more room for the back foot for greater stability.
• Reduced tail rocker with enough lift preserved to maintain the balanced front-foot pressure, popular in the V1.
• Updated board outline to suit modern riding styles and foil progression.

Performance

The Spitfire V2 rides with the same agility as popular chop-tail boards, but with a noticeably larger sweet spot. This added forgiveness makes it easier to find balance, while its design handles a broader range of conditions - without sacrificing performance.

The result is a high performance carbon foil board that delivers the feel that the Spitfire has been known for, now fine-tuned to work seamlessly with today’s mid and high-aspect wings - giving advanced riders the edge they’re chasing.

Measurements

All Amos Shapes foilboards are built in their Australian factory, using carbon vacuum bag construction with EPS foam and epoxy resins for best strength-to-weight ratio.
